Can’t upload MP3’s

  • Every time I attempt to upload an MP3, no error message will show up, and the “Send to Editor” button won’t come up! It will just go back to the upload page and do nothing! My file is not in my uploaded area and I checked with the FAQ’s, I followed the instructions, still no help!

  • Gotta admit that anything over a meg, I suggest ftping directly into the file system.

    Yes, you can upload large files via php but it doesn’t mean that it’s going to like doing it. ??

    OK nevermind. It still won’t appear in my message or my Upload library, even after I tried FTPing them directly to it. I just recently updated to the newest version and I’ve been noticing some other people have been having the same problem as me. I tried using Netscape to see if that would work, and it didn’t. THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!

    Did you ever get this figured out?

    I’m having the same problem. I’m using the Podpress plugin (v8.7), and FTPing my mp3 file directly into the file system. When it’s done uploading, the file is not visible from my “Manage>Uploads” page, and the audio file does not play.
