Can’t upload MP4 files

  • I can’t seem to get mp4 files to upload to the media folder. I get “Unexpected response from the server. The file may have been uploaded successfully.” every time. It doesn’t matter how big or small the file is. I have my max upload set to 100 mb. I can upload any other type of file. I’ve tried from Chrome and Safari. I’ve RDP to the server, copying the files onto the serve desktop, and tried to upload them right on the server. Every time I get the same error.

    Can you try posting the code you are using for upload so we can see?

    Also tell if the same is working for other file types.

    I am using the built-in add new media function in WordPress 5.7. I can upload any type of media except mp4.
