I thought it might have had something to do with the seashore-10 template I was using, but I was wrong. I moved to Andreas-04 and the same thing is happening. When I try to upload a picture into a post I’m writing I get this:
The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/cecon46/public_html/saycheese/wp-content.
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/cecon46/public_html/saycheese/wp-admin/admin-functions.php:1986) in /home/cecon46/public_html/saycheese/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1357

Any ideas what this could be and how to fix it?
    Help me, please.

Still me.Well, I’m not getting any response. Why is that?

I now have 3 blogs. https://ceconn.com/canwetalk – this is the oldest one and seems to work just fine. I can upload pictures – no problem. Another thing I can do is type in the address this way without problems: https://canwetalk.ceconn.com.
The other two blogs are as follows:
    https://ceconn.com/whatsmellssogood
    https://ceconn.com/saycheese
In both cases, I cannot type the addresses in reverse order as with canwetalk.
Why is it that canwetalk works great and has the same WP2.2.2 as whatsmellssogood and saycheese and they don’t work that well? Where could the problem lie?

    Hi Erica,
I’m having a similar problem, so I’ll post it here too, in the hope that someone out there can help us both with the same answer!

I’m having a similar problem. I have a new WordPress blog and found the upload window ok, but when I select an image to upload and tell it to do it, I get this message:

The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/processedworld.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/09.
    WordPress
    121

anyone got an idea of how to fix this? I actually created by hand the subdirectory on the site so it wouldn’t give me the original error message which said it wasn’t able to establish the upload directory… I’m stumped.

Chris, I’m almost thinking of downgrading to 2.1.3. I must have downloaded a bad copy of 2.2.2. I had trouble with the fresh installation from the get-go. All kinds of error messages.

Turns out it was the fault of my host. I got in touch with them and they fixed it.

    Who is your host, IIMA?

Here’s what we’ve done to fix this problem.

    Hope this helps!
