can’t upload .png images to my media library

  • Hi,

    my media convert any uploaded .png image to .jpg, please can you help me why is that? and how to fix this problem?

  • Hello Shaikhah,

    I am not seeing a way for WordPress to do this by default, though there are plugins that do it, such as PNG to JPG. Do you have any such plugin installed?

    Have you attempted to upload a png after disabling your plugins to see if the behavior is still there?

    Thanks a lot, it turns out that a cache plugin was responsible for this problem.
