    Hello,

I have a problem when uploading the cover/other images to the post in post form. If the image being uploaded fails validation, the wordpress error is shown “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.” and it takes up the space where the uploaded image would be and i can’t upload any new images in place of that text until i refresh the page because the button to upload image gets “display: none”.

Example would be if i have a image upload input that can upload 5 images, and one fails the validation, 4 images would be okay, but i couldn’t add the 5th one until i refresh the page because the error takes 1 place for image.

I uploaded the picture of said example here: https://ibb.co/s5kWXxF

    Can this be fixed somehow?

    Thank in advance.

  • Hello @josippapez,

Please let me know the version of WPUF that you are using. The latest WPUF free version is 3.5.9.

Please check the video from our end.

It seems the issue is specifically on your site. So first in a staging site, please deactivate all the plugins temporarily except for WPUF and then try to reproduce the issue. After checking you can reactivate the plugins, so this is just temporary.

    Hello @611shabnam,

We have the updated version of WPUF (3.5.9.) and WP User Frontend Pro – personal (3.4.0.).

I tried recreating the problem on my local wordpress with only the WPUF plugin enabled and the same thing happened. Here’s the picture that I upload as test: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P_NpEJQYiMjCkMW4oPKf2xRl91HIvMK6/view?usp=sharing

The problem is not that it’s not accepting this picture, it’s that when the error is shown, I can’t reupload a new picture until I refresh the page. So I’m saying that it would be great if the error is shown but somewhere else because like this, it’s taking one space for picture upload, or atleast the error should have close button so it can be dismissed and the image upload button would show again.

Here’s the the video of the example:

    Regards.
