Can't use "read more" option

  • Hello,
    I try to restrict the text from pages(“read more” option)
    I follow the steps from “support” but the only action that is happening is that the lines get space between them.

    Hi,

    I just retested the option (Customize > Blog > Excerpt) and it works as it should, meaning that it lets you replace the [...] with your own text and link to the article. Perhaps you’re referring to something else?

    I am having a similar issue. I inserted a text break into a couple of my pages in the visual editor mode. When I view the pages, the text break is not there. I switched to the text editor mode and made sure that <!–more–> was properly entered and located where I want the text break. The text break is still not showing up. It is important for clarity and usefulness of my site that the text breaks exist.

    I am using the most recent versions of WordPress and Tora
