Can’t use the plugin now – clear transients button somewhere in WordPress?

    Can’t use the plugin now – it only shows a screen that says it is built in to WordPress. So how do I clear transients without the Transient-cleaner setting sceen’s clear transients button? Is there now a similar button somewhere in WordPress?

    Hi,

    I assume you’re using a version of WordPress above 5.8? If so, housekeeping is baked into WordPress core now, so this plugin is not required. It will run every day and do exactly what this plugin does.

    Having said all that… I understand that people enjoy the manual control and being able to see transient stats, so I’m working on a release that will make it available to all WordPress versions (in the case of those > 5.8, it will continue to use the built-in housekeeping, otherwise it will use my own). However, I have no timeline for this.

    So, out of interest, please tell me about your specific needs – why do you need this? I’m interested in learning about what people need and why they need it, which is feedback I rarely get.
