I saw another post saying the same thing.

I can’t verify my website on the plugin install on woocommerce as it just says “There was an error saving the settings” every single time.

    Can you fix this?

    Hello @ukheather

    Hope you are doing well!

try to check the following link conflict test on a Staging site, could be some plugin or even the Theme you are using. We need to isolate the problem first.

If you can’t find the issue, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.
We will be able to help you further there.

    Best,
    Pepe

This happens to me too. I don’t think it’s a coincidence it’s happening to many people. Same exact error, ““There was an error saving the settings”.

Have deactivated all plugins besides Woocommerce, went back to 2022 theme, and it’s still not working.

First step I logged into Pinterest business account and claimed website, and uploaded HTML successfully via FTP. This worked on Pinterest end.

Coming back into the plugin, connect to business account successfully but fails at the verification, with the error “There was an error saving the settings”.

I still can’t get this working.

I have tried every theme, disabling other plugins but it does NOT work.

Clearly others are having the same so this is your end that is the issue. Lots of us! Not one or two.

Literally all the latest threads are the same issue so clearly there are issues woocommerce side.
It can’t be a coincidence that tons of people are all having issues and unable to resolve it.

We will ask for a version of the staging in order to make the tests, soon there should be an update that can help you get through onboarding.

Already have an account. You literally have to make one to download the plugin..

Emailed and first reply wasn’t very hopeful as it couldn’t even find my account so I sent screenshots.

All the latest posts are all the same issue so clearly there is a problem your end.

Every single one of the last posts is about this exact issue.
    All same error too.

Could save lots of work and time if it was investigated seeing as we all have the same issue. Error saving.

    Hello @ukheather @wapwop @karan91

There is a new update to the Pinterest 1.2.2 plugin that should help with problems at stage two of onboarding.
Let us know your problem has been fixed.

    Best,
    Pepe
