Can’t view my blog

  • I have installed everything and got as far as the dashboard. If I click view site at the top, I get this error in my internet explorer:

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/user/public_html/blog/index.php on line 1

  • did you by any change mess with the theme at all? or, even worse, accidently overwite index.php in the wordpress root?
