• Hi Folks,
The hosting company set up a blank WordPress for me, but then pointed the domain of my existing/old site to it (even though I wasn’t ready to make the switch). I told them and they un-pointed it, so I got the existing/old site back online.
The problem now, is that I can’t access the new blank WordPress site, they set up for me. And they won’t tell me how to, unless I pay them for WordPress support!

This does load in my browser (but I can’t log in)

    https://www.betweenwars.com/betweenwars-wordpress/wp-login.php

Clicking submit just sends/re-directs me to:
    https://www.betweenwars.com/wp-login.php

    Which only displays:

    Not Found
The requested URL /wp-login.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

    The following actually loads OK:
    https://www.betweenwars.com/betweenwars-wordpress/wp-admin/css/about.css

But I still can’t view the installed site. It’s like there’s still some re-direct thing going on which they haven’t undone.

Here’s a screenshot of the directories and files in CPanel:

Any help will be much appreciated ??
    John

Most probably the domain name has not been reverted back in your wp-options table or wp-config file

I’ll take a look at those Rohan, thanks. Maybe what’s in them will mean something to me (unlikely).

    Hi There,
I didn’t see any reference to the domain in the wp-config file which was in the root of the installed site.

And I can’t find the wp-options table. I suspect that may be beyond my expertise.

My host provider are being arses about this. They installed it for me because the automatic script wouldn’t work. Now they want me to pay to sort out whatever it was that they did.
