• Just randomly happened. I can’t view visual mode. I’ve read here on how to correct this issue with older versions. Wondering how to fix this with version 3.5.

Has anyone else had this issue with version 3.5? How did you fix it?

    Thanks

  • yep! livin’ it as well. I’ve tried many things to fix this and haven’t been successful yet.

If you have FF, turn on the error console and see what errors its throwing out when you a) when you first go to the edit page; and then b) when you onclick the “visual” tab.

@hudson – this thread details the troubleshooting steps to take for 3.5 problems:

Same issue….Well, also missing the entire editor toolbar.

    All plugins deactivated.
    Tried changing theme.
    Reinstalled wordpress
    tried multiple browsers.

    A little frustrated….Appreciate any help!

Same troubleshooting per the above — there are more steps than what you’ve done. And if you need help, please start your own thread.

@wpyogi – I’ve tried everything and it’s not working. I’m also not getting any of the tools on the editor at the top of the page.

I need to publish content today without issue. AFAIK, there is no thread dealing with this issue specifically. Everyone just offers up the basic troubleshooting WP advice. I’ve deactivated plug-ins, changed to the basic theme, it works in FireFox, but I need it to work in Chrome.

I am not very experienced at this and I chose WP because it was supposed to be user-friendly. I don’t understand why it forces you into the upgrade when there are no issues.

If there is another simple thing that I can do can someone please let me know. Site is halosdaily.com.
