    Hi there,

So like most people, when CAOS updated a few days ago, it wiped out the analytics settings.

I did have a few days of zero traffic before noticing….

So I put them back in for both UA and G4 and it started tracking again. Yay…

However, it doesn’t seem to be tracking everything as some traffic is being tracked… but not all of it.

I also attached screenshots of my settings, but removed analytics codes for privacy.

I’ve been clicking through your site, but I noticed that CAOS’ tracking script isn’t loaded on all pages.

This must be the work of a JS optimization plugin, because when I append ?nocache to the URL, the script returns.

Most optimization plugins offer an “exclude” option. You could add “caos” to that list. Or for the inline script: window.dataLayer.

Either way, that’s the direction you should be looking in! Good luck!

I have the same situation when CAOS updated 4.6.1 version a few days ago, it wiped out the analytics settings. @benjisdad17 i put your settings and i will check my Google analytics. I am hoping it will help.

Yes, the database migration failed during update. Which sucks. But I found the code responsible for it, and removed it. So, updates from now on should go smoothly again. Sorry for the hassle!

Is this a change from how it worked before?

I’ve never had a conflict before using any caching.

This is has Ezoic on it with the standard settings and I am using a plugin called Asset Cleanup.

Are you familiar with settings from either of those apps?

Well, nothing changed on my end. Maybe the optimization plugins became better at what they’re supposed to do? ??

This is the setting for Asset Cleanup:

I suppose adding something like (.*?)caos(.*?) there should work. But for more help I’d suggest contacting the plugin’s devs. Feel free to refer them to this thread, so maybe we can work out a permanent compatibility fix.
