    Hi Daan!

(First of all, thanks for developing such awesome plugins like CAOS & OMGF, proud user of both)

Just wanted to ask about an issue we’ve started realizing:

We use CAOS to host the analytics.js locally and has been working perfecly for weeks now, BUT yesterday we put our site behind cloudflare so everything is served from their CDN, especifically we’re using Edge caching.

Today we’ve seen a massive drop in traffic on our Google analytics panel (roughly 50% of traffic is gone)

Could it be that the .js is not being loaded for some visitors? Due to some conflict with Cloudflare’s cache?

How can we make sure everything is sound and this is just a coincidence or a red herring? (hopefully!)

    Many thanks

Could it be, by any chance, that you have JS-minification enabled in CloudFlare? This might corrupt the functioning of your analytics.js-file since some (especially older) browsers aren’t ‘smart’ enough to correctly interpret minified javascript.

Hi Daan, sorry for the late reply

Indeed we did have JS minification enabled on CloudFlare ??

All working as a charm now
