Capabilities Problem – Agents can See all other Agents and Properties

    I very much like the plugin and add-ons and have used for 4 years now.
    I have WP Property 2.3 along with Agents 2.07 and Power Tools 1.04

    WP Property updated last week and today I discovered that the agents can all see each other and delete other’s properties. Is this something I can fix or do I need to updated my add-ons? Can you please advise me of the best thing to do?

    Hello Maria – Thank you for your reply.

    I should have said that I already checked that view in my previous note
    (It was showing as noted at this page:
    https://www.islandrealestate.com/temp-page-agent-capabilities-screen-post/

    I unchecked the box for edit and delete others properties

    When I save the setting however it automatically reverts back to the checked settings…

    I did not check for a plugin conflict but will do that now and advise further

    Maria, I deactivated all plugins except wp-property and the problem still remained…I am at a bit of a loss on this…

    I heard about that issue before. You need to update Agents addon to the latest version.

    Maria, thank you – you are always very helpful when i encounter a problem and I appreciate it.
    Are the steps as follows:
    1. Download a new version of the agent plugin
    2. Deactivate the existing agent plugin (and delete it?)
    3. Upload and activate the new agent plugin

    Is this correct?

    Those steps are correct. But you can also update Agents add-on in Dashboards/Updates tab as any other default plugin.

    You may not see updates because the license is expired or not activated. But you can always get a new free license on our site.

    Thank you Maria – for clarity, when i delete the existing expired plugin – it will not cause me to lose my existing agent data – correct? thank you again.

    No, that data is storing in your database, not in the plugin.

    Hello Maria,I am unable to check-out the new licenses. When I select “proceed” the page just refreshes. Over the weekend it was saying “site unavailable”.
    I still have the problem with all agents able to see and edit other agent properties. If you can help I’d appreciate it. Thank you. Jim
