    Great plugin!

    But I have noticed that when configuring a new user role from scratch, the “delete_users” capability is needed before that role can access the dashboard.

    Is this correct and expected?

    This capability also provides a lot more functionality that just the deleting users that is expected.

    @toolstd,

    That is not normal behavior and the delete_users capability should never be used to manage access to other features rather than the actual ability to delete users.

    It is quite possible that you are using a custom theme or some third-party plugin that causes this side effect, am I correct?

    Thank you for your reply Vasyl, I know you are probably a very busy man!

    I deactivated all plugins and used 2019 theme and the problem still exists. However on a fresh install it doesn’t.

    It’s got to be something to do with the config but I just can’t figure out what.

    I will keep digging, I just wanted to check that “delete_users” wasn’t used for this.
