Capability Manager to Press Permit

I installed Capability Manager Enhanced but it didn’t limit dashboard access to my Authors. So, like a fool I installed “Remove Dashboard Access” and I didn’t like that so I deleted it. Now the Capability Manager Enhanced won’t work right.

I am debating the purchase of “Press Permit” – will that wipe out the previous two?

I am using Divi and I am posting a bunch of “projects” which will be tiled down the front page and accessible to individual authors – one author – one project – is the idea. In a perfect world I want them to edit their own project but touch NOTHING ELSE
