    Not a real wizz on this
    1. Is it neccesary to have “captcha” on the submit action?

    If so do you recommend one to use with this theme

    It’s not necessary, but it’s probably a good idea to help reduce spam comments. Otherwise, you can just use the Akismet service which really helps reduce spam comments (that’s all I personally use).

    As far as captcha plugins that I can recommend: you might want to give Better reCaptcha a try. It says that it also works with Akismet.
