Captcha Image will not display

Hi, I have found that the captcha image will not display both in the global settings area and in the form itself. Im I doing something wrong? The refresh image displays in the form as well as a text box but no image. In the global settings when I click on the reload image link, no image shows. I checked the plugin folder and the bg images are there. I’m assuming, but could be wrong, that this has to do with the path to the images and/or fonts not being correct in the code somewhere? Can someone please help or provide another method to include captcha on these forms?
