    Did you check that this form is still configured to have a captcha?

    Hi,

    I have deactivated the captcha so people can send messages…
    But would like to use captcha for security reasons.

    Hi, I have changed this form back to captcha – still not working: https://www.marcfauster.at/aktivurlaubsteiermark/kontakt-2/

    I am having the same problem – the captcha has been added to the form but does not show up in the form. On the Form settings screen, the Field Name and Type backgrounds for the captcha field display in purple.

    Catcha not working for me either. The function works when added to the form but the image does not display so users have no idea what to enter into the captcha field. Any feed back on what could be the issue would be very helpful as the User Verification Q & A does not work either.

    Captcha no longer works for me, the form field in the form settings has a purple background and if I try to add another Captcha field it is greyed out and I can not add one. Running WordPress 4.0.1 and CForms2 14.9.2. Firefox shows no JavaScript errors on the page with the form. The reset image shows but clicking on it does nothing. I disabled Ajax for the form and tested but no change.
    Here is a screengrab of the settings;

    The Captcha does work on an interior page with the same form

    I have removed the captcha from the form but the homepage form will not submit, it adds this to the site url;
    #cf2_field_1
    but does nothing. The same form is working on interior pages with or without the captcha.
    I have to do something as the site owner is now being flooded with spam submissions to the form. I have checked the error logs and only see this;

    PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /******/******/******/wp-content/plugins/cforms2/lib_nonajax.php on line 478

    I have the home page working now with captcha. The issue was the having same form twice on the home page. I had a hidden div with the same form in it that only displayed on mobile view but I guess it was still loading in regular view and conflicting with the visible form. I don’t know what the php warning is from though.

    Is this issue still relevant for you except RayBoyd1455? What versions of WordPress and cformsII do you use? The purple color is the expected behaviour. I cannot reproduce it with the current versions.

    For the Q&A issue see related topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/user-verification-q-a-does-not-work

    This is still an issue for me. I add the captcha to the form but only the refresh symbol and the text entry field display. However, next to the refresh symbol there is a symbol that represents a missing image, the actually captcha image is not displaying. I am running cforms 14.9.4 and wp 4.1.5.

    @jeckel1 Maybe there are output messages that are generated into the image byte stream. Can you check via your Browser’s network monitor (for Firefox see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Network_Monitor) if the image HTTP response contains anything and what is its status code?

    Status code is 200 – ok however, of you hover over the line it states image could not be loaded. Files path is – wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=cforms2_reset_captcha&_wpnonce=195c5c92fa&ts=2&rnd=126796.

    Does anything look off to you? I’m at a loss on this one….

    Take a look at https://juliabonnerfitness.com/cform-test/ to see the issue. Thanks!
