    Hi

IThemes Security is warning me every other day that files have changed, been deleted or made in the captcha cache folder of your plugin. I expect that this is normal, but as I’m not sure and can’t find the answer anywhere, I thought is is safer to just ask.
    Is this normal behaviour?
Sorry to take your time for this, but if it’s not normal it seems quite important to know.

    new pages in captcha folder

  • Hi, yes this is a normal behavior. Especially with cache plugins and security plugins when you enable a file change detection feature in a security plugin.

Remember that the cache file for a captcha file is constantly changing. This is sometimes referred to as a false positive reading. Many users exclude cache files from being detected by a security plugin.

    Thank you, @mbrsolution!

and if you enable the Google Recaptcha on all your forms it wont need to make those cache files anymore
