We have CAPTCHA turned on and allow up to 5 images of 5MB to be uploaded into a review, but customers keep getting a “Error: please solve the CAPTCHA before uploading files”.

In testing it, you have to select the CAPTCHA multiple times before you can upload a single image, and if you select more than one image or file it refreshes after each file upload and issues the “Error: please solve the CAPTCHA before uploading files” error so you can only successfully upload one file at a time.

Customers hit barriers with this and don’t think that they can upload any photos.

    Hi,

    Thanks for using CusRev.

It is designed to work like that. The customer has to click the reCaptcha again if they want to upload another image. This would help you/store owner prevent uploading too many images per submitted review because the images are uploaded directly to your site.

Customers are reporting to us that they can’t upload images with reviews because they are having a lot of issues with the way the reCaptcha refresh and error messages work. Is there a way to add a message to the review form explaining it better?

    Hi,

There isn’t an option to add a message to the review form. You can follow the solution below to override default templates of our plugin and add the message to the form as your requirement.

We haven’t heard from you for more than two weeks. For this reason, I’ll assume that either you are not interested in this question/problem anymore or it has been resolved. If you still require any help, please start a new forum topic.
