CAPTCHA shows on some forms, not all

Are you using v2.0.3 of the plugin? The CAPTCHA path looks off to me.

Is it possible to use the recaptcha plug in with your form to lead salesforce plug-in? Thanks!

Nope. It was too wide to be used in sidebars so we have to adapt an open source captcha that we had more control over.

Can I ask what recaptcha has that the current one does not that would cause you to want to use it?

e.g.
Refresh option
Audio option
Social benefit (book digitization)

Do you feel the current solution is insecure? I’ve had no reports of it being compromised (though there’s no IP blocking like recaptcha has).

I’m familiar with the service — but it won’t work in a sidebar/widget due to it’s width. Which I suppose is an OK tradeoff. I’ve added it to wishlist, but can’t guarantee a timeline for implementation.

Cool. You have a couple of options. You can execute a recaptcha integration similar to these guys: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/contact-form-7-recaptcha-extension/

OR update your plug-in to integrate with contact form 7. It has the huge install base of over 12mm so you’d have a pretty large audience ready to use your add-on plug-in to add salesforce integration. Just a thought.

It’s on the roadmap, but there’s a bunch of higher priority fixes and additions that’ll be addressed first.

If you want to contribute code via a patch/pull request or an add on plugin, feel free. I’m happy to commit code and/or add hooks to enable that.
