Captcha text / image not visible on iPhone

  • I am using plugin “Contact Form to Email” and have added a contact form. The Captcha image works fine on various devices and platforms I have tried, but it is not working when viewed on an iPhone. Apparently the text appears briefly, but then disappears.

    I have contacted the plugin support and they said

    “That happens if you have a script from a third party plugin or in your theme that is loaded only on specific devices (iPhone in this case) for pre-processing the image loading on the page. If the pre-processing isn’t a safe process then it may affect the captcha image.

    Please try disabling the plugins one-by-one to identify which one is causing the problem. If the problems isn’t a in third party plugin then try with a different theme to locate the issue.”

    I have determined it is the theme (Customizr) that is causing the issue.

    What is it that I need to be looking for in the code?
