I am wondering if there is a plugin that would integrate with MailChimp to make a Captcha appear after a user has complete the login details. See image for an example:

    Hey @pcosta88,

There wouldn’t be a way to enable a reCAPTCHA on the signup MailChimp List Subscribe plugin itself, I can see how valuable that would be though. Having said that, you can add a reCAPTCHA to the double opt-in process that MailChimp provides! This way, when someone signs up to your list, they can go through reCAPTCHA when they confirm their subscription in the confirmation email.

First, you’ll want to make sure double opt-in is enabled in your plugin’s settings and save. From here, you can go into your MailChimp account > go to the list that’s connected to your plugin form > Embedded forms > scroll down and check the ‘enable reCAPTCHA’ checkbox. This will enable it for your plugin when it’s set to double opt-in.

Feel free to get back in touch if we can help out with any other questions regarding the plugin. Hope this finds you well.

    Cheers!

    Hi Jasper,

Thanks for the response! Just to be clear there is no way to make a reCAPTCHA automatically appear with the MailChimp plugin on the page as described in the image?

If not, the expected workaround is to have users log into their email click “subscribe” and then complete the reCAPTCHA?

    Hey @pcosta88,

Yes, that’s correct. There’s no way built into the plugin to enable reCAPTCHA.

The double opt-in method requires that the visitor/subscriber click through a confirmation link in their inbox before being added to the list. After that confirmation link is clicked the reCAPTCHA will be provided before they are added to the list.

    Cheers!
    Jasper
