I posted about this before and it was marked as resolved, but it is not resolved. You said it was working for you, however it still doesn’t work for me and I’ve had two other people try on their computers and it isn’t working for them either. So I want to clarify the issue to make sure we are looking at the same thing. The gallery images are linked correctly to external URLs. Those work. However, the links I built into the captions no longer work as they did before installing this plugin. When you just hover over the caption text, you see the proper target URL at the bottom of the browser. However, when you click the link it is enlarging the image instead of taking you to the target url. For example, under the first gallery images of infant car seats, click on the caption/text below the first image marked “Classic”. When you hover over them, you see the amazon link at the bottom, but when you click “Classic”, you are taken to the enlarged image of the infant car seat, not the target URL.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

If you disable the plugin, what happens? The link you have in the caption links to Amazon? Or does the image opens in the Lightbox?

Normally, my plugin doesn’t modify the behavior of that caption. I also had a look into the HTML of your website, and indeed, only the link around the image is modified, but not the caption. So I am not sure why this is happening. To me, it simply looks like the Lightbox is taking over.

Okay, thank you! Before I installed the plugin, the caption links went to Amazon as intended. With the plugin activated, they do not. Now, when I disable the plugin they don’t seem to work as they did before, they just open the image. I activated the plugin again and I’ll try to figure out how to get those caption links working correctly. Thanks.

Now, when I disable the plugin they don’t seem to work as they did before, they just open the image.

Then there is something else going on. The plugin doesn’t modify your install, or any data anywhere. When active, it filters the output and modifies it, indeed, but that’s only on the fly, dynamically. Which means that when the plugin is disabled, it’s like it was never ever enabled. I think something else is going on.
