    Hey,

    We are having an issue with the shortcodes displaying incorrectly on both the preview and mailouts. The shortcode itself is displaying [caption id="attachment_863" align="aligncenter" width="212"][/caption] for example either side of the image.

    I tried to use “do_shortcode” on the output and the shortcode is processed BUT the align attribute isn’t properly rendered (it’s ignored).

    Any help appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Joey

    @leglesslizard,

    Would like to update you that currently Email Subscribers cannot parse any shortcode present in your Post , so if the any custom plugin adds any shortcode in the post content then Email Subscribers will not be able to parse it and the shortcode will appear as plain text in the email content.

    We do have plans to add support for shortcode and will soon be implementing it in the future version of Email Subscribers.

    Thanks for the quick reply I appreciate that!

    The problem is not with any custom shortcodes, however. It is when media is inserted into the email template using the editor provided. The caption shortcode is one from the default wordpress and wraps the image that has been inserted by the editor.

    If I get time I’ll try and find a solution to the problem as I do a fair amount of wordpress dev work. I just thought it may be something you had come across before.
