Caption showing AND tooltip

  • On this page you will see a gallery of 5 images. When you hover over them, you see BOTH the caption AND the tooltip showing the same caption. I’ve tried everything in the gallery settings but have not worked out how to not display the tooltip. If anyone can point me to the setting I need to change to make sure the tooltip does not appear, I’d be grateful. Many thanks.

    Is it possible to send me some screenshots of the settings of your gallery? I was not able to replicate this behavior.

    Hi Beatrice,

    Thank you so much for getting back to me. Maybe I’ve not explained the issue clearly enough, sorry.

    As you can see, it display the caption over the image, which is great…but it also displays the tooltip when you hover over the image and I don’t want this.

    Could you please advise me as to how I stop the tooltip from displaying?

    The version of the plugin I am using is 3.6.1.

    Hi Beatrice,

    Many thanks for coming back to me. It is odd that you are not seeing the behaviour, as the tooltip appears for me in both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

    I’m not sure how to use Imgur here, so have added the Captions settings to the https://grazynacydzik.com/tiles-gallery-showing-tooltip/ page.
