Hi, I no longer have the captions as the alt/title. They have switched to the description. Is there a shortcode override to switch the caption back to the alt/title? Please see my website here that has two galleries explained below: https://wegotspirittees.com/designs/elementary-school/elementary-school-spirit/

First one is written below, but I don’t want the hover, I want the captions at the bottom. The title on the hover is correct though.
    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”7″ template=caption display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_pro_thumbnail_grid” gallery_width=”700″ gallery_height=”1000″ override_thumbnail_settings=”1″ thumbnail_width=”150″ thumbnail_height=”150″]

The second gallery is how I want it to look, but the captions are the descriptions for some reason? This happened after I updated today.
    [nggallery id=7 template=caption gallery_width=”700″ gallery_height=”1000″ override_thumbnail_settings=”1″ thumbnail_width=”150″ thumbnail_height=”150″]

    Thanks.

@terresa77 – If this happened after updating to the latest release then I would suspect you modified the bundled NextGEN Legacy style “caption” template which has now been over-written.

If you create a new template (preferred) and/or re-modify the existing template (still not update safe) then you should have your displays back as you had them previously.

    Thanks!

Okay, well I have the second gallery on the page as I want it, but it is displaying the description and not the alt/title. How can I change this to display the alt/title?

@terresa77 – Currently you would need a custom template as suggested earlier to display the Alt&Title Text instead of the Description.
