Captions and Background color

This is a very nice looking theme! It is very clean and modern.

I’d like to add captions to the light gallery view. Is there something that I can add to the coding to work with the shortcode to allow for captions to be added?

I’d also like to change the color of the light gallery background from black to white. How can I change the color?
