I have a very simple gallery setup consisting of 3 pictures. I have the option selected to display the captions as title attribute. In the editor, everything works perfect and the caption is showing below the picture. On the webpage the captions do not show. I am using the shortcode below. I also tried manually adding the captions=”title” but same results.

    Any ideas?

    [gallery size="medium" ids="81449,82196,82220"]

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    hey,

captions are only supported in RGG Pro

The caption section of the plugin says: “Choose how you want the captions to be displayed. Buy RGG Pro for more options. (Default: As title attribute)”

Kinda makes it seem that the single option available (as title attribute) was the single free option, with the ability to purchase more options with the pro version.

Perhaps update your verbage to say something more like: Buy RGG Pro to use this option and make it unavailable to select, this will avoid future confusion.

well, there are actually 2 options available in the free version:
    1. disable captions
    2. title: this will set the HTML title attribute of the A tag, resulting in the caption to show up as a tooltip when you mouse over an image.
