Captions show on some photos but not all

    Love the plugin. Just one thing. I want captions to show on all images and all images do have caption and alt tags filled out. But when viewing the images using your plugin, some captions show and some do not. It favours showing with portrait images, but some do not show. As for landscape, most do not show, but some do. I have emptied CDN and local cache, but that hasn’t fixed the issue. Any clues on how to force captions to show on all images?

    I assume, you already checked in the backend settings:

    General: CDN mode “prefix” or “pull” and maybe also a custom URL for the CDN.

    Captions: “Get the image captions from the database” and “Used elements”.

    If you can not use the alternative text or other elements in the HTML source as caption, it is crucial that image URLs are known to the WordPress media library – otherwise only captions which are found in the HTML source can be used. Depending on what kind of caching or CDN you use, it can happen, that WordPress does find the post object for the given image URL and therefore captions are also missing then if there are not part of the HTML source (alternative text (alt), figcaption etc.).

    For yours or anyone else’s information, I am on Cloudflare and thought it may be a caching issue. But I fixed the issue instead by not pulling through captions but alt tags instead, using your settings in the backend. It now works on 100% of the images.

    Thanks for the feedback. However, it should also be possible to use Cloudflare by providing the correct CDN url in the general settings.
