• The thumbnails and captions are still out of alignment for WP 3.2.1. Is anyone else still having this problem? When will this be fixed…does anyone know?

    Here is my page:
    https://eagleheartdynamic.com/?page_id=1346

    The problem is when I type in the caption, it appears to the right of the thumbnail in the window. It doesn’t look any better in the preview mode and it is definitely out of alignment in the final viewing. I hope they fix this problem soon since it is slowing me down and I am not able to complete my website!

    William what theme are you using? Is it a Studiopress theme or another one?

    All those images are aligned left, you know.

    I mean, when I view source, the CODE says ‘alignleft’ and not ‘aligncenter’

    <dl class="wp-caption alignleft" style="width: 290px;">
    <dt class="wp-caption-dt"><a href="https://eagleheartdynamic.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/shtnapplication.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-1355" title="Application of Shiatsu" src="https://eagleheartdynamic.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/shtnapplication.jpg" alt="Application of Shiatsu" width="280" height="80"></a></dt>
    </dl>

    This is what I did. I uploaded the images and applied the centered option to captions. However, when I apply the type style from within the window (bold, header 5, medium blue), that’s when the images and captions get messed up.

    What if I just change the caption style on the CSS? Maybe working from within the window messes things up.

    I did 2 more experiments. I uploaded the images and didn’t change the captions at all except I centered them:

    Now I tried it by applying a bold and a blue and centered it but did not change to header 5 just kept it at the default format. It works. So for some reason, it does not work when I change the header from within the window.

    Check it out:

    As long as I keep it to “format” which is the default and not change it to any other header, then it is fine. So I can live with it.

    Thanks for your help.

    I just upgraded my blog to 3.2.1 and I lost visibility to the full dashboard. I cannot see plugins, permalinks… nothing!!! The blog was working fine before. Any fixes?
    I already contacted my hosting provider to ensure they have installed
    PHP 5.2.4 or higher and MySQL 5.0.91 or higher. They responded with “yes, all our server have installed PHP 5.2.17 and MySQL 5.0.91. So the issue is in WP. When will this be fixed? I have 2 websites affected.

    cairo55 – Please make a NEW topic. if you’re not having 100% the same problem, you need your own topic.

    designerwriter – There are issues with html in captions. When you say this:

    However, when I apply the type style from within the window (bold, header 5, medium blue), that’s when the images and captions get messed up.

    do you mean you’re styling the CAPTION text or just text in your post?
