    Hello,

I’d like to capture a form’s drop-down field in the DataLayer and had hoped your plugin would do the trick, but I realized it only pushes Category, Actions, and Labels as far as I understand.

Is there any way I could use the plugin to accomplish what I need? If not, any idea what I need to do to do so?

    Thanks a lot

Yes, the plugin currently only tracks form submission events and passes the form title as label. Adding custom form input values is currently not possible.

However, it sounds like a really good feature to add. Could you please provide some additional details on the type of data you want to capture and send to GA?

I was thinking that we could introduce a free-form input field under the analytics configuration that could contain comma-separated references to input field values that should be passed as the event “label”.

    Yeah, that would work!

Basically, I’d like to send an event to GA with the subject line (value option) from the drop-down menu there as the event label as you mentioned.

From there I could set up a goal in GA when the event label is equal to one of two specific values that represent a valuable lead to me.
