capturing search filters in URL

Hi,

I’m asking a question that’s been asked over a year ago to see if there are any new suggestions/options for this: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/capture-search-filters-in-url/

As stated in that link by another user, I would also like the URL to reflect the filters and search terms (eg: example.com/?region=asia&type=fulltime instead of example.com//#s=1).

I know this might fall under customization if this is not a feature you offer, but does anyone have suggestions on where to start with this? Which file contains the code that would need to be modified?

This would be an extremely useful feature as it would allow users to bookmark a url and come back to the filtered page every time.
