Car Demon Custom Ribbon Problems

I am having issues with loading a custom ribbon for the vehicle photos. In the drop down box for adding a ribbon, it gives you the option of adding a custom ribbon, but when I do that, it takes me to the media up load page and inserts my custom ribbon in my vehicle description rather than vehicle photo as a ribbon. Am I doing something wrong, is this not really an option (even though it appears to be) or is there no answer? Please help!
