car demon makes woo commerce disappear

You site is really coming together. I like the slider on the homepage.

Back to the issue you’re having. I use WooCommerce and CarDemon together on a couple of sites and have not run into this issue myself.

I’ll try to setup a test site over the weekend and try to recreate the issue.

I think that car demon stole the page from woocommerce once I have any product listed in it. it will just show car demon search or archive page without any car. Then, when I deactivate car demon product would come out and everything will work accordingly.

I think the problem is with permalink (tried everything and didn’t work) and thinking that the real issue is with .htaccess and how it tells each plugin to work. unfortunately I only have wordpress recommended .htaccess and not know how to to change it.

ok so I have fixed the problem.

I pretty much moved everything in the theme file into the root of my theme and use select “No” for theme setting in Car Demon Setting. and yes everything works.

However, when I tried to search utilizing my car demon search widget, it now is conflicting with the search setting with my theme. Do you have any fix for that as it is important that I have these.

I have an idea. Download the Car Demon styles PlugIn and try some of the different style in that.

You’ll need to remove the car demon files you dropped in your theme, but leave the Car Demon theme files setting set to ‘no’.

The Car Demon Styles PlugIn should take over the template options from Car Demon and it might solve your issues.

Let me know if that works.
