card payments required but unticked

I’ve just set up WooCommerce on a site for the first time. It was created in a staging area and deployed to live.

After logging on to live, Woo asked to move the connection from staging to live. Done.

Followed the WooCommerce Payments “Finish Setup” flow and created the necessary Stripe Express account. Done.

After that, the WooCommerce dashboard flashed “Congratulations, you’re done”.

However, there is no card option on my checkout page and when I look in Payments->Settings, the credit card / debit card payment option is unticked. This is also disabled so I cannot tick it myself.

Any ideas on how to enable this?
