• Having trouble with adding in softball stats I’ve accumulated year-by-year starting in 2010. I’ve entered player data individual player by individual player, year by year, season totals. I thought it might be better to add the stats through creating a dummy event, as was suggested. However, the teams who are not currently playing in 2021, the players do not show up in the list for the event. Also, I’ve entered each players total games per season along with the other stats, but the games do not show up in the Player Lists for each team….

I’ve figured out part of the problem. Players won’t show up on the Events page under their team if it’s a “Past Teams” instead of “current Teams”. This is obviously a problem going back and entering retro-active stats, as the players in many cases play for different teams currently. How do I resolve this?

And in terms of the players on each “Player List”, all of the categories under the “Performance” Tab shows up but not the “Statistics” tab, which is why the games are not showing up in that list and the AVG is not calculating. Any way to fix this?

Trial and error, I’ve figured some things out. Players do not have to be “Current Team” to be able to post their stats, as importing them through the Events function overrides that fact and imports them. They do then need to be designated if they haven’t already been entered.

The Games feature being under the Performance tab is still a problem, as the games need to be manually entered in each player’s profile. And they need to be entered manually after that into the “Player List” for each team. But it’s easier than importing every single player one at a time and adding all the data for each player.

Still haven’t figured out how to make players linkable within the team stats. That’s the next thing to figure out, so players or other people can click on their own profile and see their stats from other seasons. I don’t know anything about writing code, but that’s the only thing I can think of.
