Careful with international currency exchange

    I see that this plugin doesnt allow you to remove or have the option to just charge in one currency. This is a problem for a business, since the user can actually choose to pay in a currency that is way bellow your business currency. This will explain. If you sell a package of candy at 10 dls and the user chooses to pay you in mexican pesos, it means that you will get 10 mexican pesos. This is bad since 10 pesos is then than 1 dollar. So do the math, you will get 1 dollar for a 10 dlr product. Just be aware of this. Im sure the other functions of the plugin are amazing. Just this is something to be aware of. No exchange currency updates. No option to charge in the currency of your choice so you get your money and no way to remove the option for a user to pick their currency.

    Not sure I understand what you are talking about. Normally the standard product will be sold in the currency that is set in the settings. So I use this plugin to sell a product for $30 USD. The customer will have to pay $30 USD. They cannot just pay in some other currency.

    Maybe you have enabled a donation option or “Allow customers to specify currency ” option but forgot about it? If you enable that option in the plugin then you are telling the plugin to allow the customer to select a different currency. That’s what the plugin will do.

    Stripe gateway by default won’t exchange the currency values automatically. For that an exchange is needed. We have an addon for it:

    I understand. My product was standard, not donation. And still the currency option shows and It cant be removed. I looked into the settings and didnt find what you are saying. Did testing and when the user chooses the currency the price doesnt change in the product.
