Carousel

I realised the other day that the Carousel is based on Flash and hence did not show up on my tablet as I’ve not installed it. Obvoiusly there might be Ipad users etc who would also not have flash.

I was wondering if there was a way to detect flash was not available and revert to a simpler widget if not found?
