Carousel causes conflict with the next button

I’m having an issue where the carousel causes a problem on the front page resulting in the “next” button to stop working. This issue is only present on the first page because after moving to the second page “next works just fine. If the carousel is disabled then the next button works just fine. A previous post had a user suffering the same issue. The user stated that this was probably due to a conflict with the “previous” and “next” button classes conflicting with the post list. The user found a fix but it unfortunately didn’t work and the issue is still present among other issues popping up as a result. Has anyone had any success fixing this issue? I like the carousel and would like to keep it up. Thanks for the support if any!
