    Do you want to not display a carousel image so please do not add a featured image…

    can you please share your website URL so we will check properly…

    Well I do need the feature image for the actual post.

    Is there No option in the shortcode for not loading the feature image in the carousel?

    Hello,

    Please go to your Admin Panel->Appearance->Customize->Additional CSS.
    Please put the below CSS in your “additional CSS” section.

    .wppsac-post-carousel .wppsac-post-image-bg{ display: none; }

    However, that fix is just NOT to display the feature image but it has been loaded.

    With the css solution the feature image has been loaded not just being displayed.

    I was hoping for a solution that the feature image DOES NOT even get LOADED at all in the carousel.

    Because there is a few carousel going on in the single article with over 10 items at least per carousel. The page loading time takes longer.
