Carousel Images not showing ESP. homepage

Hey, Can you post a link? I’m trying to guess what the issue might be and I can’t think of anything. If I can see the page I might be able to find an error.

I’m still trying to get used to the theme so page is still a mess.

Earlier I mentioned I imported the xml but I thought I did something wrong so I actually deleted my previous wp and installed a new one without importing the xml and tried uploading with random pictures for a try. Still no luck.

If you roll down, you can see the heading saying Portfolio using page builder and under the heading when you mouse over, you can actually see the link in the browser status bar. If you mouse over above the heading, that’s another carousel by using the theme option>home layout with portfolio carousel enabled. the featured image sizes were 980 × 735 and 1000 × 672 for the two portfolio pages.

ok I see your issue, your server has an out of date mod security, which is blocking a woocommerce file and causing a javascript error. That javascript error is causing the theme to not load properly and thus you can’t see the portfolio items. If you download and install the plugin here: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/jquery-cookie-fails-to-load/

That will fix your issue. I also suggest you contact your hosting and ask theme to update.

Just being curious with two more questions if not too much trouble.
1. How did you see it’s because of the mod security?
2. The support forum you mentioned, I figured I couldn’t register my own account. Do I have to use the account which I use to buy the theme? (Manager bought the theme but of course the account is under his name and doubt he is willing to give me authentication to the account)

Not sure if this question will be acknowledged but for the carousel images I know we can set to portfolio and others but I couldn’t see the option for pages or custom the carousel. Is this possible?
(I see custom carousel widget in theme-option->home layout but where do I customize it?)

So I assume you have the premium version? If you go to theme options > home layout and scroll down you should see Home Custom Carousel Settings. Is that what you mean?

Ah yes, omg sorry to bother for such easy step. My bad, totally brain dead.

But do you know the answer to my other question about carousel images?
If I can choose pages or let’s say 5 out of 10 portfolios instead of all portfolio or posts or etc. Hopefully I am not over looking for this one too.

In your portfolio page you can choose to only show a certain category. Just make sure you’ve assigned desired posts to a specific category.

So you’re wanting a slider with images from pages (not posts)? You can use the flex slider and just link your images to specific pages in your site. Is that what you mean?

Yes I am thinking images from pages but not using regular sliders using plug in like the image carousel if I didn’t understand the terms wrong.

Regular Sliders shows one image per slide but the image carousel shows at least two items and more.
Flex and cyclone sliders I tried them since they were recommended plugins when virtue was installed.

Not in the needs at the moment but just that this came into mind when talking about this topic.

Hi you can add pagebuilder to post by going to the settings> page builder in your admin.
