Carousel link to business listing??

We would like to display our Featured Businesses at the top of the page in a Carousel, then have the full Business Directory below that. All is good, getting it set up, but then we discovered that while clicking a listing in the full directory will open the single listing page, the Carousel does not. The only options we seem to have are to link the Carousel to the image, the logo, or nothing.

Isn’t there some way that people can get to the business listing page from the carousel? We do not want to link them out to their respective pages, and linking to nothing has frustrated every one of our testers (new site launching in a week).
