Carousel on homepage

Hi,

Is it possible to have a carousel/slider in the featured image on the homepage of my site using Goran theme?

I’ve tried inserting a GIF there, which works, but of course the image quality of the GIF is quite bad compared to jpeg.

I don’t want users to be able to manually scroll through images, but just have a carousel of about 4 slides that scroll through with adjustable intervals.
