    Hello,

We’re having an issue with this plugin where the carousel on our home page loads super slowly after everything on the page has loaded. Please see this video here of this issue happening: https://www.screencast.com/t/bSyig1GB

We initially reached out to Elementor about this issue but they specified that this is an issue specifically with the module in this plugin.

Can you look into why this is happening?

    Thanks!

    Hi Rana,

Sure, here is details for a temporary staging site that we have set up. You’ll need to log in with this information to view the site:

Let me know what you find.

    Thanks!

    Hi @inspry

Actually, once you open the page, the templates are loaded below each other until the carousel is triggered. So, what we do is hiding the templates content until the carousel is triggered, then showing it.

So, this is more related to the time it takes for your page to be loaded. May I ask do you have any caching plugins installed on your website?

    Cheers!

    Hi,

Yes, we have Breeze and Redis Object Caching on our site as recommended by our hosting provider.

I have tried disabling both of these caching options and it did not seem to make a difference.

Let me know your thoughts though.

    Thanks!

@inspry Could you please try to copy and paste the widget to a new blank page and let me know if the issue still exists?

    Hi,

Sure, I copied the same carousel (styling is a bit messed up) on a new test page and it loaded fine there: https://www.screencast.com/t/4nt7gecMP

Perhaps something else on the home page is causing a conflict? Do you know what it could be?

    Thanks!

    Hi @inspry

It seems that your homepage is taking much time to load, that’s why it take time for the carousel widget to show (because as I mentioned above, we show the carousel after the content is loaded to prevent any layout break).

Please try to deactivate all plugins except Elementor and Premium Addons so we can check if the slowness is caused by one of the installed plugins.

    Hi,

We have found out that another plugin is causing this issue. We have reached out to their support team.

    Thanks for your help!
