Hi, could you please check on your end the percentage setting for the Modal box header>Upper Close Button. The Upper Close Button doesn’t work with % values for padding position. It does work with pixel values. The Footer padding adjustments do work with % values so no problem there. I work alot with the Modal widget so I am testing many times various settings and scenarios. Please see attached screenshots. https://postimg.cc/gallery/nVXLDBB Thanks and best regards

    Hi @planetboris,

I have checked the padding with unit set to % and I can see it works fine.

The padding is calculated with respect to the width of the generated box’s containing block. So it depends on the width of the parent container of the close button. Please try to give a bit larger padding values and let me know.

Hi, the settings for Top, Right and Bottom, in % value will move the upper close button. Please try changing the value of of the Left setting, you will see that it does not move. Please see attached screenshots. Please try it yourself, the left setting and tell me if it moves, on % value setting. Thanks and best regards https://postimg.cc/gallery/2BKBVN8

Here’s a screenshot from my end. It would be great if you could share that page link that has the issue so I can have a look and see what is causing that.

    Cheers!

Sure, that would be great. The site may be a little slow to load. You have to scroll down and you will see the modalbox plugin before the bottom, with UK and French flags as triggers https://www.mokouzin.com

    Hi @planetboris,

I have checked your page, but I can see that the padding is set in pixels, not percentage.

Yes, it was set to pixels because percentage wasn’t functioning. You didn’t mention anything about changing it to percentage. Do you need it set to percentage for troubleshooting? No problem, I will set them to percentage. …..The Uk flag ones are now set to % (Upper Close Button) The French flags still use pixels. I have been having some issues with error messages, so if the site is not responding try again later please. Thanks

    Hi there,

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but your original message mentioned that “The Upper Close Button doesn’t work with % values for padding position“. So, in order to see the issue on your website, please change the size unit to % so I can have a look.

    Regards

Hi Leap, yes you are missing something. You missed reading my complete message. You read the first line then you reacted to that. Probably you are very busy, but please read completely my previous message, it is courteous and clear. I understand that when you are dealing with hundreds of tech support issues this can happen. Thanks and best regards

    Hi @planetboris

Referring to your first message, you told us that the padding doesn’t work in percentage, but it works fine when the size unit is set ti pixels. So, I’m telling you that when I checked your page, I found that the padding is set in pixels. So, I’m asking to change it to percentage so I can check the page again and see what is happening.

It would be better to share a screen recording of the issue if this is not what are you referring to.

    Cheers!

I didn’t hear back from you. I hope everything is going fine!

Hi, sorry but I have been away. I will try to make a screen recording as per your suggestion. The reason I wanted to put in % values is because when you change screen sizes, for example, you go from 1920 width to 1600 width, the position of the close button changes, when pixel values are used. So that is why I wanted to try in % value.
