Carousel with a Slimbox/Shadowbox Plugin??

    Right now I’m running Slimbox which is nice but after playing with Carousel I’d rather use that solely. The only issue is Carousel only works with galleries and not normally embedded images. My question is, is there a way to get Carousel to work with normla embeds, and if not has anyone found a good Slimbox plugin that can be deactivated for Galleries, right now the one’s I’ve tried over-ride Carousel. I don’t want embeded images to just open the image files.

    While Carousel was meant to be used with galleries only, you can use the following work-around to activate it on single images as well.

    Start by finding the attachment ID matching your image, and then insert it into your post like so:
    [gallery include="your_image_attachment_id" size="full"]

    Actually no workarounds really required I just found out when using Slimbox2. All you need to do is images to use Slimbox insert them linking to the image file. To use Carousel set the gallery to link to attachment and boom both work lovely.
