Cart always empty if I update or checkout

    Hi,

    I’ve already used eShop for another website and things have been going smoothly. Now I’m implementing it again but I seem to be getting a Cart is empty error everytime I add an order to my cart. I’ve read a couple of inquiries and have gone to see that it might have been a session issue. At first I was pointing to a subfolder so figured it might not be reading the sessions of a different domain, so I uploaded my entire website to the main link to rule out that issue.

    I’ve been monitoring my sessions through firebug and can’t seem to find the sessions properly. But if I check the sessions in my other site that’s working I still cannot actually see the eshopcart session. Thank you!

    I have learned that my wordpress can’t access my sessions. I’ve been looking through different forums but solutions dont seem to be working..

    it is a hosting issue, please contact your web hosts about php sessions.

    Hi,

    Thank you for replying. I don’t think it’s a server issue.. I tried saving a couple of different sessions and they seem to be staying put. I’m currently keeping watch of the sessions, once I add to cart eshopcart1 session’s there.. But when I go anywhere else, I still have the final price and items? Of course they have buggy content, but they’re still there..? ??

    Also, already tried contacting Host Gator. Told me they didn’t have anything for me basically. ?? Explored PHP.ini Quick Config, disabled it, still no luck ??

    deactivate all other plugins and try in the default theme, if it does not work then, it is 100% a sessions issue.

    As there has not been an update to this topic for a while, I can only assume that the issue has now been resolved and I am now marking it as such. If this is incorrect, please feel free to change the topic’s status and/or post a follow-up.

    I am also having this issue and it is not a sessions issue.

    It is also not a plugin or theme conflict as I’ve tested that.

    Can you provide more information on why this error would display please?
