    Hello,

I would like to ask a general question. As an online shop, I have the cart page and the checkout page as all pages. But if I check the XML site map that is generated, I can not find these pages. Is this ok to happen? Should I check any settings in the plugin?

    Best Regards

    Hello!

    Yes, that’s the intended behavior.

Think of it this way: From Google, users should land only on useful landing pages, and a checkout or cart page isn’t useful without the user first viewing what’s in the store.

WooCommerce automatically applies “noindex” to these pages; it means that the pages should not be found from the indexes of search engines. The SEO Framework honors their request, but you can overwrite it via the page SEO settings (you probably shouldn’t). When the page is indexable, it should be listed in the sitemap.

I hope this clears things up! Cheers ??

    Hello @cybr,

Thank you for your response. That surely clarifies some things. I will keep the no-index on these pages as it makes sense.

Currently trying the SEO framework on 2 sites and the results seem impressive.

    Best Regards
